Thank you for joining us for WineFest No. 18—A Toast to Children's Health. At WineFest you will explore the wonderful world of Spanish wine and fine cuisine. We will showcase the beautiful Rioja region and their bodegas and celebrate the internationally-renowned University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital. In addition to gourmet fare, spectacular wine, and entertainment, this two-day event will also feature extraordinary live and silent auctions including exclusive globe-trotting travel opportunities, sought-after Reservas, and much more!

Port party
Host a port tasting for up to 10 people at your home. There will be eight different ports from Portugal. Grant Bender, a port expert from Kobrand, will lead the two-hour tasting featuring eight different ports. He will pair ruby and tawny ports with a variety of chocolates. The chocolates and ports will be yours to enjoy following the tasting. Subject to availability on a mutually agreed upon date.

Land Rover—Winter Weekend Getaway
Enjoy a weekend up north at the cabin of Luther Luxury owner Ted Terp on Clam Shell Lake. This lake home is located on a private one-acre lot on Clam Shell Lake, part of the Whitefish chain of lakes just north of Brainerd. This lake house boasts a huge updated kitchen area with hickory hardwood floors, tongue and groove ceilings, oversized stone fireplaces, and two large family rooms with views from every window. It's four bedrooms can accommodate up to 10 people, with one of the bedrooms sporting double bunks. Snuggle up next to one of the fireplaces with your favorite book, enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings, or brave the elements hiking or snowshoeing through scenic snow trails. Nisswa and Cross Lake are minutes away for shopping and you can enjoy one of the many great restaurants in the area or you can cook in.

Bacchus Wine God
Bacchus Wine God is painted by award-winning artist Luis Burgos, one of the most distinctive figurative painters from the contemporary art scene in Spain. With a colorful career spanning three decades and more than 50 exhibitions in Spain, London, Belgium, and New York City, Burgos enchants the art world with the passionate characters depicted in his work. Burgos studied drawing at the School of Arts and Crafts of Logroño, Spain, and later moved to Barcelona, where he studied at the San Lluis Circle and a private academy. He also studied under painter and restorer Arnaldo Lodosa, with whom he perfected his technique. Burgos, who specializes in painting figures, is known for the arresting facial expressions exhibited in his work. This painting is just over 6-feet-by-6-feet in size.

This two-person package includes luxury accommodations for five nights in Rioja, Spain (arrive on Monday, depart on Saturday), transportation between Logroño and the Bilbao airport, car rental for four days in Rioja (Tuesday through Friday), five nights of hotel accommodation in Rioja (arrive on Monday, depart on Saturday), a hotel breakfast, a guided tapas tour of Calle Laurel (Monday evening), three bodega visits with lunch at each bodega (Tuesday—Thursday), and a special visit to the Dinastía Vivanco museum and bodega (Friday).
